Terms of Service
Last updated: July 25, 2026
LarGrr lists nights out in San Francisco for the bear, leather, and big-guy scene. These terms cover how you use it. They are short on purpose. If a line is unclear, write to hello@largrr.com and we will answer in plain words.
Agreeing to these terms
Using LarGrr means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Browsing listings needs no account, and these terms still apply while you browse.
LarGrr is in beta
Beta means what it sounds like. Features change, some break, and parts of the service are unfinished. LarGrr is provided as is. Nothing here commits us to keeping any particular feature running.
Signing in is by emailed link, by invitation only. There are no passwords and no public signup during the beta.
Listings are information, not a guarantee
Listings come from three places: calendars published by venues, entries made by our curators, and submissions from the public. We check what we can. We cannot promise a listing is right.
Nights move, sell out, get cancelled, and get rebooked. Covers, start times, and door policies change without notice. Confirm with the venue or the promoter before you build your night around a listing. Some listings link to ticket, venue, or promoter pages we do not run, and we are not responsible for what happens on those sites.
Who this is for
LarGrr is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. Most venues and events we list are 21+, and the venue's door policy is the one that counts.
Submitting an event
Anyone can send us an event through the submit form. When you do:
- You confirm you have the right to share what you send.
- You give LarGrr a non-exclusive, royalty free license to display, edit, and format that event information on LarGrr. You keep every right you had going in.
- A curator reviews the submission before anything publishes. Sending it is not a promise that it runs.
- We can decline, edit, or remove any submission.
Want a listing you submitted taken down? Email hello@largrr.com.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape or hammer the service at abusive volume, and do not run automated tools that degrade it for other people.
- Do not submit unlawful content, or content you have no right to share.
- Do not impersonate a venue, a promoter, a performer, or another person.
- Do not use LarGrr to harass anyone, and do not interfere with the service or its security.
The Community Guidelines carry the rest, and they apply here too.
What belongs to whom
The design, code, and editorial content of LarGrr are ours or licensed to us. Photography is copyright Felix Xie unless a credit says otherwise; do not reuse it without permission. Venue names, event names, artwork, and logos belong to their owners and appear here to identify the night.
Takedowns
If something on LarGrr is yours and should not be here, or is wrong about you, email hello@largrr.com with what it is and where you saw it. A person reads it and content can come down fast. If you are in a photo, the Privacy Policy covers takedown and permanent erasure.
What we promise, and what we do not
LarGrr is provided as is and as available. We do not promise the service will be up, complete, or correct, or that an event will happen the way a listing says. As far as the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limits on liability
Use LarGrr as a starting point, not a guarantee. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for what happens at a venue or an event. Your night is between you, the venue, and the promoter. Where liability cannot be excluded, ours is limited to what you have paid us to use LarGrr.
Some places do not allow limits like these. If yours does not, the limits above apply only as far as your law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If something goes wrong, email us first. Most things get solved that way.
Changes to these terms
This is the beta version of these terms and it will be updated as LarGrr grows. The date under the title tells you which version you are reading. Using LarGrr after an update means you accept the current version.
